Discover Tuscany
From rolling hills and vineyards to quaint villages lined with cobblestone streets, Tuscany offers tourists a glimpse into the heart of Italy. Italy breathes history, art (65% of the world's artistic wealth is in Italy; half of those treasures are located in Tuscany), culture, curiosity and sophistication. From the awesome architecture of Brunelleschi's Dome in Florence to the walled city of Siena, tourists can lose themselves in the feeling and history of Tuscany. Enhancing the charm and uniqueness of the region are the unlimited tastebud thrills--outstanding food and excellent wines. Specialties of the region include wonderful wild boar meats (try boar salami with fennel), authentic Chianti Classico wines, tremendous blends of red grapes grown in the region's vineyards, 12-years aged balsamic vinegar drizzled over vanilla gelato, strawberries or pecorino cheese to name a very few. There are realities in Tuscany so rich and richly textured, so multi-faceted and flexible that they must be slowly savored, carefully touched and fully experienced to be understood and appreciated. Let Pauline Priore help you discover them.
